Still not really clear on what RSS feeds are. I set up a reader account but this isn't my cup of tea exactly. I don't really see the advantage to that as opposed to bookmarks/favorites.
Hi Janice! The main benefit of an RSS reader over bookmarks or favorites is that you don't have to click on each bookmark to see if new content has been added. When you add a blog or RSS feed to your reader, the reader automatically checks thoses blogs and feeds for updates. It then brings them to you, in your reader. So, over time, it will be much more efficient. More and more websites are adding RSS feeds and more and more information is being presented on blogs, so having a reader will only get more useful over time!
