Thing #10 Social networking

I think social networking is a terrific idea. It can connect you with people you have been wanting to locate and would otherwise not be able to find. You just have to hope they want to find you too! The unlimited possibilities of the Internet never cease to amaze me. Features that I thought were just for young people I now realize we older ones can be using also, like Facebook, which used to be only for those in college.

Thing #9 YouTube

I was able to post a YouTube video onto my blog with minimal trouble. The trick is to remember how! But these instructions are relatively simple.

Thing #7 -- Flickr
Fortunately Bella helped me out, and we found a picture to upload and edit in Picnik. But most of it is beyond me. Could use a whole course in it. Lots of new vocabulary to learn too.

RSS feeds and Reader account

Still not really clear on what RSS feeds are. I set up a reader account but this isn't my cup of tea exactly. I don't really see the advantage to that as opposed to bookmarks/favorites.
